Nitrous for New Camaros
You knew it was coming, and now it’s here. Zex has officially hit the market with the first nitrous system specifically for the new 2010 Chevy Camaro equipped with the LS3 V8 engine. The kit is tuned to safely add between 75 to 175 horsepower (which equals approximately one second in the quarter mile) thanks to Zex’s Activue Fuel Control system. Active Fuel Control adjusts fuel delivery as bottle pressure drops so that the engine never runs too rich or too lean while spraying.
The Zex system also offers an electronic TPS (throttle position sensor) switch for reliable system activation at wide-open throttle. This is especially important on throttle fly-by-wire systems like is found in the Camaro. Zex says installation is a simple, two-hour procedure that doesn’t require any special tools or diagnostic equipment.
